Annie’s statement about the work - "It’s Bourdieu theory of habits that society and it’s structures affect the individual, when I made that work in 2016, it was the height of hype culture everything had to be branded and excessive beyond logic. So I made an everyday tool I use made out of gold. To highlight how ridiculously things have become".
